You asked, and we answered!  To make beauty simple and fun, our line is divided into skin tone groups. There are warm and cool tones - fair and tan shades. Makeup sets, including blush and eye shadow, are available for all skin types.

Here’s how Affusion categorizes it’s makeup line:

 Cool/Fair – These are women with more blue/pink undertones in their skin. This color tone is for those women who look better in white than ivory. If you are married, think of your wedding day. Did you look your best in a white dress or ivory? If your answer is white, cool is your selection. Do you look better in clear pink (think bubblegum) or more of a salmon color? If you answer bubble gum, cool is for you! We have a whole makeup set, including blush (Cool Rose) just for you!

 Cool/Tan - You still gravitate to white and pink, but your skin is darker than most or you have a deep tan.

Warm/Fair – If you were stunning in a candlelight wedding dress, you probably have more yellow skin undertones. Your blush would be called Warm Mesa because it has those lovely brown undertones.

Warm/Tan – You still gravitate to ivory, brown and jewel tones, but your skin is darker than most or you have a deep tan.

ROSACEA
Many of Affusion’s customers have asked me about living with Rosacea!  There are some things you can do to help rosacea. Let’s review:
  • Take Omega 3/6/9 oil (200-400 IU) daily and Vitamin E (200-400 IU daily). I really like a little vitamin shop in Clayton, Georgia, called Vitamins and More…. They have a toll free number, 866-782-1897, and free shipping, so don’t bother going out to look for it. Let it come to you!
  • Stay away from wheat and dairy. I do recommend the freshly ground, whole grain bread, but try spelt grain instead of wheat.
  • Here is a recipe for an Herbal Tea you can blend. Try *Mountain Rose Herbs (www.MountainRoseHerbs.com) for the ingredients.

Rosacea Tea
1 ½ cups bulk nettle
1 cup bulk red clover
1 cup bulk calendula flowers
1 cup green tea
½ cup lavender
½ cup cinnamon chips

Put all ingredients into a gallon zippy bag and shake. Store in a cool, dark place. Use 1 tablespoon cup of boiled water. Let steep for 7-10 minutes for full flavor. Strain and sweeten, if desired. Check out Affusion’s Skin Care Chart for Rosacea also. Many customer have found help there.

WINTER-TIME DRY, FLAKY SKIN
With winter heat and arid conditions, skin can get really dry in winter! If you are experiencing that problem, try using the Glycerin and Rosewater Spritz instead of Toner this winter. After washing your face, simply spray the spritz in your hands, and massage into face. When that dries, moisturize. We have found the extra humectant from the glycerin and the pH-balancing rosewater tones and helps retain moisture!
